I shared a Reddit Download Festival prediction and accidentally started a Facebook group riot
It’s that time again. The Download Festival lineup is taking shape, the black T-shirts are being mentally packed, and somewhere a person is already checking whether their old festival wellies have survived another year in the cupboard.
But who will be playing? This is the question that hundreds of people are waiting for the answer to.
So I thought I would help out (maybe).
I posted a Reddit users predictions into a Facebook group and OMG do people have opinions, or do people have opinions!
I did say on the post that I didn't make it up. That it came from Reddit, but now I am getting people saying "how did you make this up? I know its AI.....", when actually someone else has just commented that there is actual website where you can create your own dream lineups.
Disclaimer: I did not create it. I have no inside information whatsoever. I would like to take this opportunity to clarify that I am merely a woman with internet access and an unhealthy interest in festival speculation.
And honestly? I'm finding the whole thing rather entertaining.
I might even learn a thing or two about which bands people desperately want to see at Donington in 2027.
And when the official lineup finally arrives, we can all see how close these predictions came.
